Title: Bott Vanishings and applications to Hodge theory on toroidal embedding
Abstract:
We revise the Bott Vanishing on projective toric varieties by giving it an alternative proof with a condition that is compatible with the condition of Kawamata-Viehweg Vanishing. This proof can also be adapted to generalize Bott Vanishing to the singular and local settings, and the one using mixed Hodge modules. We also use these vanishings to give us better understanding of the Hodge theory on toroidal embedding, including the degeneration of Hodge-de Rham spectral sequence. Lastly, we give a counter-example towards the local Bott Vanishing for birational morphisms.
