Title：On log-concave isotropic random matrices
Abstract：I will discuss some concentration inequalities on the largest and smallest singular values of jointly log-concave isotropic random matrices. In particular, we prove sharp lower tail estimates for the smallest singular value for such matrices in the cases of (1) entries being drawn from unconditional distributions, (2) independent columns, and (3) sufficiently tall dimensions. Results are from joint works with Manuel Fernandez, Galyna Livshyts, and Santosh Vempala.
