Title: On the Nash entropy and volume estimate along Ricci flow
Biography:
Dr. Wangjian Jian, an assistant research fellow in the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his Ph.D degree from Peking University in 2019. His research findings were published in internationally recognised journals such as Adv. Math.
Abstract:
We will first review the volume non-collapsing estimate along Ricci flow introduced by Perelman, and some of its refinements made by Zhang Q, Wang, and Tian-Zhang. Then we will talk about the Nash entropy introduced by Hein-Naber, which was used by Bamler to control the volume along Ricci flow locally. After introduce its basic properties, we will show how to use Nash entropy to improve Perelman's volume estimates.
