Title：Some explicit constructions of the KSBA moduli compactification and stable degenerations
Abstract：We will start from basic examples of moduli compactification problems, for example, the work of Deligne—Mumford and Grothendieck—Knudsen in the case of 1-dimensional case. Then we will give an overview the framework of higher dimensional cases in the sense of Koll\’ar—Shepherd-Barron and Alexeev (KSBA). Finally we will look at the moduli of weighted hyperplane arrangements and stable degenerations, and discuss its application on some of our recent works (with V.Alexeev, H.Fang, P.Gallardo, B.Nguyen, L.Schaffer, Z.Zhang).
