Title：A hyperplane restriction theorem for holomorphic mappings and its application
Abstract：Motivated by a hyperplane restriction theorem of M. Green related to the linear subspaces of $H^0(\mathcal O_d, \mathbb P^n)$, we consider the restriction of a linearly non-degenerate rational map $f:\mathbb P^n\dasharrow\mathbb P^m$ on a general hyperplane $H\subset\mathbb P^n$. It turns out that one can estimate the dimension of the linear span of $f(H)$ in terms of $n, m$ and the estimate is independent of the degree of $f$. We will talk about some applications of such estimate, including on study of the proper holomorphic maps and Hermitian polynomials.
