Title:Isolated Singularities and Liouville-type Theorems for Fully Nonlinear Elliptic Equations
Abstract:In this talk, I will discuss recent progress on fully nonlinear elliptic equations arising from conformal geometry. A central question is whether viscosity solutions defined on a punctured ball admit removable singularities, or more generally, whether they can be extended across the singular point as subsolutions or supersolutions. I will describe criteria for such extensions and explain how these results lead to Liouville-type theorems for conformally invariant equations. This is based on joint work with B. Z. Chu (UCSD) and Y. Y. Li (Rutgers).
