Title:The tropical zeta function is an invariant integral over a convex body, and its poles reflect the geometry of the boundary
Abstract:In the plane, after a simple normalization, it is controlled by a canonical rational-slope model and the sizes of unimodular corner cuts. Equivalently, along each boundary arc, it is described by Hata-basis coefficients of the Legendre dual. For a smooth strictly convex planar boundary with nonzero curvature, the zeta function has a simple pole at two-thirds, with residue a universal constant times the equiaffine boundary length.
