个人简介
汪徐家1979年9月进入浙大数学系学习一直到1990年获得博士学位，并继续留校任教。1995年9月被澳大利亚国立大学聘任为研究员（Research Fellow），2005年升为教授，并于2007年获得晨兴数学金奖，2009年当选澳大利亚科学院外籍院士，2013年获得澳大利亚桂冠学者（Laureate Fellowship）称号。2024年9月入职西湖大学。
研究方向
汪徐家博士主要从事非线性椭圆抛物方程理论及其在几何与物理中的应用研究。主要研究成果包括（和他人合作）：建立了Hessian 方程的位势理论，证明了Monge-Ampere方程自由边界的正则性，并把Monge-Ampere方程边值问题的正则性推进到最优。解决了陈省身的仿射Bernstein问题猜想，并对平均曲率流的奇性刻画做出突破性工作。解决了Monge在1781年提出的最优传输问题解的存在性问题，并获得了一般成本函数的最优传输问题的正则性，解决了Villani提出的正则性问题。
