主讲人简介: Yining Hu received her doctorate degree from University Paris VI. She was a visitor at the theoretical computer science institute of Paris Cité University. She is now an associate professor at the Harbin Institute of Technology.
讲座主题： Automatic sequences, Algebra, and Continued Fractions
讲座摘要: I will give an introduction to automatic sequences, starting with a classical example. Then I will talk about its link with algebra and number theory. Finally I will talk about Diophantine analysis in positive characteristics and recent results on automatic continued fractions.
