报告题目：Bowen's legacy beyond compact uniform hyperbolic world
报告摘要：In 1970s, Rufus Bowen came up with the idea of depicting the general picture of thermodynamic formalism of a dynamical system using a strong orbital concatenation property, known as specification. Precisely, he showed that a bounded-distorted continuous potential on an expansive homeomorphism with specification must have a unique equilibrium state. In this talk, we briefly survey the development of Bowen's argument in the last two decades by introducing how Bowen's idea is extended to a variety of systems beyond compact uniform hyperbolic setting. This talk is based on a sequence of joint works with V. Climenhaga, D. Thompson and W. Wu.
