Title: Global Solvability in Chemotaxis-Fluid Systems

Abstract: In this talk, we discuss global solvability for the Keller–Segel–(Navier–)Stokes system, modeling the interplay between chemotactic bacteria and surrounding fluids. We prove that in two dimensions, the full Navier–Stokes coupling ensures global bounded classical solutions whenever the chemotactic sensitivity decays to zero at large signal concentrations. In three dimensions, for the Stokes simplification, we establish global existence provided the sensitivity decays algebraically with exponent exceeding 1/3. Our results are sharp, as they match known blow-up thresholds for the fluid-free system, where constant sensitivity or slower algebraic decay can trigger singularity formation.
