讲座摘要：In 1954, George Pólya conjectured that for any Euclidean domain, individual Dirichlet and Neumann eigenvalues can be separated by the leading term in Weyl's law. In this talk I will survey backgrounds and known results, and explain our recent work on this conjecture. (Joint work with Xiang He).
