Title: Introduction to category theory in physics (V)
Abstract:
We will use 1+1d Ising chain to show that the enriched fusion categories provide a unified framework of Landau and beyond-Landau paradigms. In particular, in both the SPT phase and symmetry breaking phases, the spacetime observables form a fusion category enriched in its monoidal center.
We will also explain the holographic dualities between n+1D topological order and nD quantum liquids based on the idea of topological Wick rotation.
