Title: New Applications of the Compensated Compactness Theory on Nonlinear Hyperbolic System
Abstract: In this talk, I would like to introduce the new applications of the compensated compactness method on hyperbolic conservation laws. Mainly, we are concerned with a model of polytropic gas flow, which is a nondiagonalizable hyperbolic system, and composed of the mass equation, the momentum equation and a varying entropy.
