Title: Kähler-Solomon Zeta Functions
Abstract: Kähler-Solomon zeta functions unify literature initiated by Erich Kähler in the 1950s and by Louis Solomon in the 1970s. We will focus on comparing and contrasting them to objects that you may have seen before. They are naturally related to things like integer partitions, the structure of finite modules, Brauer groups, Hilbert schemes, and quantum-affine representation theory. Hopefully you'll come away from this talk with an appreciation for these deep objects and how they may help to resolve some fundamental problems.
