Are you fascinated by the mathematical structures that govern the brain? This summer school is your chance to explore the exciting field of mathematical neuroscience! Dive into the rich interplay between mathematics and our understanding of how the brain processes information, learns, and generates behavior.

What You'll Experience:

● 4 Main Lectures: Learn the core concepts of mathematical neuroscience from leading experts in the field.

● Research-Oriented Presentations: Gain insights into cutting-edge research and delve deeper into specialized topics.

● Engage in Discussions: Interact with professors and fellow participants, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

● Presentation Opportunities: Selected participants will have the chance to showcase their own work and ideas through oral presentations.

What You'll Learn:

● Neural Modeling: Understand how to construct mathematical models of single neurons and neuronal networks.

● Dynamical Systems: Apply mathematical tools to investigate the complex dynamics that give rise to brain function.

● Network Analysis: Analyze the structure and connectivity of neural circuits.

● Real-World Applications: See how math is used to tackle questions in neurosicence.

Who Should Apply:

● Graduate and senior undergraduate students with a strong background in mathematics (e.g., mathematical analysis, linear algebra, differential equations, probability).

● Some neuroscience or programming knowledge is helpful, but not required.

● A passion for interdisciplinary exploration and problem-solving!
